Nicole

Hi everyone, my name is Nicole. I specialise in painting and drawing, textile art and sketchbook development. I practise art in my free time and sell my own work online.

I offer one-to-one art tuition to students who want to improve their grade or refine their style, plus I offer adult tuition to those who want to discover art. No matter the age or creative experience, I aim to help students find their creative passion and develop technical skills to allow them to feel confident in their ability to create art.

I mainly offer lessons within my home studio, so we have access to all my materials, but can also come to your home too.

All private tuition will adhere to government guidelines regarding COVID-19.

Experience: I have six years experience teaching Art & Design at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level. I have a degree in Textile Design and have therefore also taught KS3 Textile Technology. I was Deputy Head of Year at a local Dorset school for Year 9, 10 and 11 and have a real passion for helping others.

Working within art education, I understand the assessment objectives and can help students achieve higher grades. For adults, I know it can be scary to make a step towards trying something new. I believe everyone has artistic skill. There are so many mediums and techniques available, it’s just about finding which is best for each individual. That’s the best way to build confidence and succeed.
