I have a very patient, friendly and bespoke approach to teaching by taking in consideration different learning styles and using this to guide my explanations and resources. This ensures that your child has completely understood the topic and feels confident enough to explain and apply each concept, linking them to other areas of the specification, thus, enabling them to access the more demanding questions in the examination. I will also take some time to provide valuable feedback regarding how your child interprets and answers exam style questions and actively work with your child on how to improve their exam technique and work on revision/memory tools. I take great pride in teaching and use this to improve your child`s engagement and self-confidence in science.

Availability: Monday-Friday 5.30pm - 6.30pm
More availability during half-term and holidays.

Experience: I studied Biomedical Science at university before working as teacher for four years. I have experience in teaching both biology and chemistry GCSE triple content, yielding results that are both pleasing to child and parent. I have worked with a wide range of abilities, including students who want to achieve a Grade 9, to those who are aiming to get a passing grade 4 in their Science. Whatever your child`s aspirations, I can support and guide your child to reach them.
