Hi there!

ABOUT ME
My name is Julia and I graduated in 2008 from the University of Essex with a 2:1 degree in Humanities where I studied modules in English Language and Literature, History and Film Studies. I am an LTA qualified tennis coach, a fully qualified advanced adventurer SSI diver and I have gained certification in both the guitar and drums. In the past I have worked voluntary as a travel writer and as a radio presenter for Hospital Radio Colchester. Furthermore, I have recently gained extensive knowledge in business language and marketing working as a freelance website content editor for various companies and I have also offered my services to help others re-write and edit their CVs.

TEACHING
When it comes to teaching and coaching younger minds I have gained valuable experience in privately coaching mini tennis to children from the ages of 3 to 9. I also regularly babysit children of all ages as well as help improve their English, reading and spelling skills. I have been doing this for the past 3 years with positive results and because of my friendly, fun and informative teaching techniques I now wish to broaden my repertoire to teach GCSE and A level as well.

As a well-spoken and clear native speaker I have a great love of the English language in all aspects including speaking, reading, writing and I am fully accredited in TEFL. I teach in an enthusiastic and enjoyable manner where students look forward to learning, excelling beyond their expectations.

I offer services to teach English to foreign students and English to children at all levels up to A-Level standard which meet the criteria for their chosen syllabus. More importantly, I will teach with a smile and put the ENjoyment back into ENglish!

What I am offering:
- Flexible hours that suit your schedule
- £10 per hour or £15 if travelling anywhere within a 15 mile radius
- The first half an hour of any session free of charge
- Accommodation with Bed & Breakfast and TEFL packages to foreign students (additional cost)


Academic Qualifications:
A Level in English, Media Studies and Psychology
2:1 BA HONS (Humanities)
TEFL qualified
