I am a recent biomedical science graduate with a first class degree who will shortly be starting a PhD in cancer research. My main area of expertise is therefore, biology. I greatly enjoy tutoring and passing on my knowledge to help students succeed in their academic career, and my hard-working nature will make sure I provide only the best teaching and materials for your understanding. I am confident, friendly and easy to talk to, and believe in making learning fun. For students who have very little interest in biology, I like to find ways to make the subject relevant to their existing interests, for example, if you`re interested in sports then I will relate as much as possible to sports science and how you can improve your performance through learning about anatomy and physiology.

Experience: I have led university student research groups. I have had one GCSE student for the past two years and have tutored her through her biology GCSE. I began with her having no interest and very little knowledge of biology, and now she is doing an apprenticeship in equine veterinary studies. She was always interested in animal, so teaching was very based on the importance of biology for animals. I have worked in a languages school as a team leader, teaching English to many foreign students under the age of 16.
