How can I help you?

Are you worried your child is falling behind? Have they lost their enthusiasm for learning? Are they unable to access the work being set for them? Do they need challenging and reengaging to fulfil their full potential?

I am able to deliver bespoke one to one online lessons on a weekly basis and can work flexibly around your family’s needs. I can plan and deliver lessons to suit your child’s needs and ability, with the aim to refocus them, help them gain knowledge and teach them exam technique so they can regain their confidence. Providing them and yourself with feedback on their progress, support and reassurance at this time.

I am tutoring through the online platform, using Zoom for calls and Google Classroom to share work and resources. If you decide to get in contact we will first assess which areas your child needs support with. There will then be a free 30-minute first lesson where I assess your child’s ability and preferred learning style. From here I will plan and deliver a series of lessons to get them back on track.


About me
I am a graduate of the University of Manchester with Genetics Bsc(Hons) and a fully qualified Secondary Science teacher. With my joint passion for Science and teaching I strive to make learning fun and rewarding. Having attended a selective school for seven years, I have an excellent understanding of what it takes to succeed. I have worked in a variety of comprehensive schools also and am able to adapt to your child’s specific needs.

I have been a tutor in GCSE Maths and Science for over five years. I`ve taught many students who felt they couldn`t be helped and seen them go on to gain in confidence and beat the odds to gain vital GCSE qualifications.

With my recent work in secondary school, I`ve seen first hand the changes in the curriculum to the GCSE and A Level exams and am well versed in how to equip my students. More recently my tutees have met and exceeded their target grades in their GCSEs (2019)

I also tutor A Level Biology and the 11 plus entrance exams. All pupils I have tutored have gained entrance to a top performing grammar schools over the past three years.


My teaching style is focussed on building positive relationships with pupils, always patient
Each pupil is unique and it is important they feel comfortable in order to get the most out of lessons. As every pupil is different, some students need to write minimal notes and do lots of practice questions whereas others need extensive notes. I therefore try to accommodate to each students unique learning style. With my Genetics degree I can push students that wish to pursue Biology or Medicine at university level to beyond the syllabus.
Based in Sutton Coldfield and am working online currently.
