I have been part time tutoring for the last ten years, mainly in Literacy and mathematics supporting children in catch up activities, to help them reach their targets.
Tutoring Approach
We start with a chat on the phone to collect information about your child`s strengths, confidence and areas to develop, along with your own needs and expectations. I will also seek information from reports and assessments so that I can prepare an individual plan with targets to aim for along the way.
I plan varied, interactive sessions using mental activities, games, written tasks, educational apps, websites
whichever is the best tool for learning available. I can also provide further activities and websites to practise through the week.
