Feedback For Richard (10)
Richard has been very considerate and helpful in tutoring our son. He is very constructive and gives realistic work between sessions.
Disappointing, expected him to respond, after a week or two, as he mentioned he was sick and under medication, I tried to understand and remain patient, but just ended up wasting my time and effort, never commenced on lessons
Tutors Response :
As you acknowledge I was quite ill. This went on for some weeks. Disappointed that you chose to leave negative feedback without trying to contact me.
Richard is encyclopaedic in the area of IT and has managed to put Python in context and has been able to provide a level of understanding to 2 students that their own teacher had been unable to in over a year.
I have been working with Richard for 13 months, learning how to use Python, and he has been nothing short of brilliant!
Firstly, Richard makes you feel comfortable and is willing to tailor his teaching to your needs. He is extremely knowledgeable and is more than happy to pass on this knowledge in a way that suits you. He is also extremely patient - I knew nothing about Python at the start and was initially nervous about learning something new, however Richard made it an enjoyable experience, and took me through it step by step. Python was something I did not find natural, however despite the fact that I had to travel over an hour to see him every week I still looked forward to our session!
Had an advanced Excel session around formulas with Richard. Very good at explain and adapting to student needs.
We contacted Richard to arrange `A`Level tutoring in Computer Science for our son, who has ground to make up in Yr 13 owing to inadequate teaching and signposting by his subject teacher in Yr 12. Richard was quickly responsive and has come to us twice so far for 2hr sessions which our son has found helpful in getting him back on track.
Really helpful and knowledgeable
Richard is professional and is helping my daughter build confidence as well as knowledge and explains whilst challenging her. I have been so pleased with all of the work done so far.
Richard is an excellent tutor, who is very knowledgable in many subjects. He tutors two of my children in Maths and Physics, and comes to our house twice weekly. He is calm and patient, and as well as the practical work that he does with the children, he also provides us all with helpful information regarding the exams that they will soon be taking. They really enjoy the sessions with him, and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Richard has been an excellent tutor for our son, initially to assist him reach the grades he needed in GCSE maths but assisting in Sciences also. Richard`s patient but steady pace not only helped improve his understanding of the subjects, but helped boost his confidence in himself and his own learning capacity. Without doubt he made a big difference to our son`s final grades.
Richard was able to help my son with many of his gcse exams, resulting in some very good grades. He is very knowledgeable and patient .Thank you Richard!
