Information about Lynne
I am a qualified Science teacher with experience of teaching Biology, C
hemistry and Physics to GCSE & Biology to A-level. I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Hons degree in Medical Biochemistry and then went on to complete a PhD in Biochemistry. I then completed a PGCE in 1997. I have taught in a variety of establishments including grammar and comprehensive schools and also in further education colleges. I am currently working as head of Science at an online learning provider where lessons are taught live online to students who are unable to attend school for various reasons.
I have experience of teaching Science to students of differing abilities and also have experience of teaching science to students with a variety of special education needs including a student with visual impairment. I enjoy the challenge of finding ways of helping students to learn in a way that is accessible to them. I include a range of learning styles in my teaching and will provide sessions tailored to the needs of the individual student.
Availability: Weekdays and evenings currently available.
