Being a fully qualified teacher, with over 15 years’ experience, I can help your child to flourish.
I am a firm advocate that all students can be successful if they are given the right opportunities. I believe in personalising the learning for each individual. I would welcome the opportunity to work with you and your loved one to create a unique learning journey to meet their needs. This may be to help them gain confidence in specific aspects of their learning; to consolidate skills they have been taught already; to provide them with new challenges to accelerate their learning and/or to prepare them for their next steps. This could include exam preparation or preparation for their move to high school, college, university or life outside of education. Ultimately, I think it is imperative that we provide our young people with the skills and resilience that they need in this current climate.

Availability: I am available between 8:00am to 8:00pm every day.

Experience: After gaining my PGCE I taught in primary schools for 13 years – mainly in Key Stage 2. I have extensive knowledge and experience of teaching students to pass their end of Key Stage 2 SATs. I have also taught at Key Stage 1 and have experience of teaching phonics and coaching students to pass their end of Key Stage 1 SATs. I have had great success working with children with special needs – from students with physical disabilities to those with social and emotional difficulties.
For the past 2 years I have worked in mainstream secondary schools. I have taught English Language and English Literature to all year groups (from year 7 – year 11). This has included teaching students to pass their English GCSE exams.
