Information about Pam
A specialist maths teacher, experienced in the new 9-1 GCSE, I bring maths to life for my students. Maths shouldn`t be about learning how to process numbers, it`s about understanding and mastering. I have a proven track record of GCSE success at both higher and foundation 9-1.
Availability: Currently Second in Department teaching full time in a local secondary school. I`m a qualified maths teacher and also a qualified accountant. I teach both higher and foundation tier students and achieve excellent results consistently.
Fully experienced in the new 9-1 GCSE examination and strategies for success. My availability is evenings and weekends during term time but can be much more flexible in the school holidays.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I totally understand when a student struggles with maths. I have numerous ways of teaching all topics depending on a student`s needs.
I will assess students first to identify their needs and then close any gaps in their knowledge and understanding. I use exam style problem solving questions to ensure students are fully prepared for their 9-1 GCSE.

Unfortunately my 15 year old son had only one session with Pam before we were advised that all GCSE’s have been cancelled. He was really impressed with Pam’s teaching and felt he would have achieved a really good Grade in Maths with her help. I am hoping to continue in the near future anyhow and would definitely be contacting Pam.
