Currently in my first year at the University of Nottingham studying Economics , originally from Leicester.

I firmly believe that with hard work virtually anything is possible, no matter what. This is why I believe I would be a good tutor since I will encourage my tutees to achieve their potential and to persevere- especially since I have fresh experience on just how hard it can be!

Throughout my education I have attained the following qualifications:

GCSES: 8 A* Grades: English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, RE.
3 A Grades: French, Business, ICT

A levels: Economics (A*), Chemistry (A), Mathematics (A),

AS level: Biology (A)

I believe I will be a good tutor since:
-I am empathetic and understand how hard it can be to understand new concepts which is why I am patient and encouraging
-Have perfected a studying method which I have used throughout my education which I can teach to others
-Keeping up to date with GCSE Maths, since I am tutoring this via team up
-Has only been 2 years since studying for my GCSEs so a lot of the knowledge and, more importantly, the exam technique is fresh in my mind
-Recently studied my a-levels and have kept all my notes which I would be more than willing to pass on to my tutees
-Genuinely enjoy tutoring, demonstrated by me giving up my Wednesday mornings to tutor in Derby for free

Experience: I have built up an extensive experience of tutoring. During my A2 year I tutored an AS student in Economics. I built on this during my University years by joining the TeamUp initiative and I am currently tutoring three year 9s in Mathematics. During this course I have received substantial training, a DBS check and am currently working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
