Online A-Level Maths & Physics Tutor with a 1st-Class Masters in Medical Engineering.
Friendly and professional, I tailor every session to fit the needs of my student. I take pride in the achievements of my students, and work hard to ensure they realize their full potential - and get the best grades possible.
Rock climbing, bouldering, hiking and cooking take up most of my free time. I`m an avid traveller, health and fitness enthusiast and self taught guitarist. I love to challenge myself and learn new things, my most recent venture being to learn Spanish!

Experience: With 2300+ hours of online tutoring experience, I have found great success improving confidence, developing understanding, and boosting exam results of students by several grades. My specialty is A-Level Maths and Physics. My background in Medical Engineering allows me to offer real world examples of the concepts being learnt. This help students develop a more intuitive understanding of what they are learning.
I have a good track record of students scoring high grades. Summer 2024 exam season we achieved: 80% A*-B grades and 45% A*-A grades. Of this cohort 93% got into their 1st choice University and over half are now studying at Russel Group Universities!
I offer support for university applications, personal statement writing and interview prep for all of my regular students (included in the price of sessions). Having been excepted into all 5 of my university choices, as well as helping dozens of students get into their 1st choices, I have a good understanding of what universities are looking for.

Daniel was amazing in supporting my son through the last part of his physics A`level: he had teacher churn and had missed chunks of the syllabus. Daniel helped him manage the learning, revision and panic and supported him with managing A`level stress across the board. We just got his results and are very pleased with the A that he got in both physics and maths __ from not being sure he would even manage a C in physics just a few short months ago. Daniel has been amazing and we could not recommend him more. One of my daughters is just about to start physics A`level and we know exactly where to go if / when she finds she could do with a bit more support.

Daniel took on an urgent help request regarding A Level Physics revision support, after paper 1 went badly. His advice was insightful and exactly what was needed.
