Hello! My name is Arianna , and I am a Durham University student currently studying a joint honours BA in English Literature and History. I achieved A*s in both English Literature and History at A-Level, giving me an expert understanding of essay writing, source analysis, and exam technique.
As a passionate humanities student, I enjoy helping students build confidence, improve their skills, and achieve top grades. I focus on essay planning, critical thinking, close reading, and effective argument construction, tailoring my approach to each student’s needs. I also provide guidance on revision strategies and UCAS personal statements, supporting students to achieve their academic goals while developing independence and confidence in their learning.

Experience: My experience as Head Girl has helped me develop leadership, organisation, and communication skills, which I apply in tutoring to create structured, engaging, and productive lessons. I have also achieved top academic recognition, including winning the Oxbridge Launchpad essay competition in History, “Can History Be Objective,” with the highest score of 87/100, and completing the Reading Scholars Programme. Additionally, I have been accepted to the prestigious John Locke Institute, a private academic institution. These experiences have strengthened my analytical thinking, essay structuring, and research skills, which I now use to guide students in developing critical arguments, refining their writing, and excelling in humanities subjects.
