Hello, I am Caroline.
I have a passion for both science and education and I am available to provide tuition in Biology, Chemistry and Science.
I am currently a part time Biology lecturer at a local University. I have experience teaching in HE and I spent a number of years working as an education development officer in the NHS. I also have some experience teaching Science/A-level in a secondary setting.
I graduated with an Undergraduate and Masters degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Bath and I have a Ph.D. in Medical and Molecular Genetics from the University of Birmingham. I worked for a numbers of years as a postdoctoral research scientist at a pharmaceutical company before working in education.
I am friendly, patient and enthusiastic.
Availability: Weekdays after 5.30pm
Weekends
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I am currently a part time biology lecturer at a local University. In addition I have experience working as an education development officer in the NHS. I have some experience working in a secondary setting.
I am happy to tutor KS3/KS4 Science and up to first year undergraduate Biology students.
