Hi, I`m Robert, a passionate maths tutor dedicated to helping students realise just how capable they truly are. With over five years of teaching and tutoring experience, I know that great learning happens when students feel supported, challenged, and motivated. My lessons are lively, engaging, and fully tailored to each student`s needs, focusing not just on knowledge but on building real confidence that lasts beyond the classroom.

I specialise in GCSE and KS3 maths, with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR. Whether it’s mastering core skills, pushing for top grades, or catching up after a tricky year, I know how to create lessons that are clear, structured, and enjoyable. I combine proven techniques with a fresh, encouraging approach that helps students feel at ease and excited to learn.

• Delivered bilingual professional development workshops on a variety of topics including using AI in the classroom and using standardised testing data to maximise student learning.
• Implemented the use of standardised testing schoolwide to be able track student progress and make data-based decisions.

• Taught a variety of students ranging from young learners to adults. These have included exam preparation courses for Cambridge and APTIS exams.

• Worked full-time in a secondary school giving mathematics interventions to students from all year-groups who were performing below their target grades.
• Gained experience in planning my own lessons and tailoring a curriculum to ensure that pupils can be successful in their examinations. The GCSE students that I taught achieved an average improvement of 1.4 grades per pupil.
• Delivered lessons online via Google Classroom during a national lockdown and was able to maintain a high standard of teaching despite this.
