Hi! I`m Julia, a physics specialist who has taught for 3 years in state schools and now tutors full time.
I am friendly, approachable and keen to get more young people interested in science. With that in mind my approach is a mix of topic based lessons, help with revision, and challenging students to think beyond the syllabus.
I`m flexible with arrangements, if you want me to travel further please email me and we can arrange something. I also offer discounted lessons for students who get free school meals.
Availability: Monday to Friday, daytime and evenings.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I qualified as a teacher in 2014 and then taught full time in a Maidenhead school for three years, teaching students up to year 13. I have been tutoring full time since the summer of 2017 and in this time I have had experience helping students wishing to apply to Oxbridge, move from state to private schools, as well as those who are home schooled or who have dyslexia, autism and ADHD.
I offer lessons in Maths and Physics to A-level, and Biology and Chemistry to GCSE level.

I would highly recommend Julia as a tutor and she has been tutoring my son since we realised that he was struggling with this topic and falling behind. His grades have improved massively going from a 4/5 to a 8/9. Julia has given my son the confidence in his work and now he is hoping to take Physics at A level - something he wouldn`t have considered before Julia began to tutor him.
