I completed my Undergraduate degree at Coventry University in BSc Honour Rehabilitation Engineering. I also hold a diploma in Assistive Technology, and RCT accredits me as Clinical Technologist. Since 2010, I have worked as a clinical technologist and Specialist Rehabilitation Engineer in different sectors including Posture management at Chailey Clinical Service, Northwest Assistive technology service in Liverpool (Electronic and Assistive Technology) and Liverpool Wheelchair Service.
Postgrad studies in Biomechanics at the University of Warwick were directed at neurorehabilitation and focused on Human functional abilities.
In May 2021 I took on the Senior Lecturer role and acting as Programme Director of BSc Healthcare Science in Rehabilitation Engineering at Swansea University.
The 44th U.S. president, Barack Obama, at Harvard, and the former PM of the UK Tony Blaire, inspired me.
Aside from teaching, I am committed to assisting and inspiring students from ethnic and racial minorities and socioeconomic status.
