I achieved an A* in both Maths and Further Maths at A-level, along with an A* at IGCSE Maths and an A in Additional Maths, before graduating from the London School of Economics with a degree in Mathematics and Economics (2:1). I’ve been tutoring since 2021 and have already worked with students across 11+, GCSE, A-Level, and IB (Higher Level).

My students often tell me that I make Maths clearer and less intimidating, and in many cases, even enjoyable! I’m approachable, patient, and adapt lessons to each student’s style of learning. I know the importance of building confidence as well as knowledge, and I strive to achieve both to help students get results they’re proud of. Several of my tutees have gone on to secure bursaries and places at top schools such as Highgate and Latymer Upper, while older students have achieved the grades needed for strong university offers at LSE, Warwick and Cardiff.

Experience: Since 2021, I’ve helped every one of my students improve by at least two grades. My GCSE/IGCSE tutees have achieved results as high as 8s and A*s (in both Maths and Additional Maths), and my A-level students have earned A*s and As in Maths and Further Maths. For younger pupils, I’ve successfully prepared candidates for the 11+, including those who won bursary places at top independent schools.

My sessions are interactive and tailored: I break down difficult topics step by step, ask plenty of questions to encourage independent thinking, and regularly use past papers to build exam technique. I aim to make lessons structured but engaging, so students feel supported without being spoon-fed. I also help with revision planning, making sure students develop strategies that keep them on track throughout the year, not just in the weeks before exams.

Feedback from families has been that my tutoring is clear, motivating, and genuinely boosts confidence. I believe in getting the very best out of each student and showing them that success in Maths is always within reach.
