Monisha

I am a History graduate with a 2.2 from the University of East London with a strong passion and love for History. I really enjoy teaching history while inspiring others to love the subject as much as me. I particularly enjoy the social, economic and political changes History highlights and I believe it is important to engage with History whether it be personal, national or international as it promotes a sense of belonging in the wide world we find ourselves living in.
I am currently tutoring my nieces with their homework but I would like to expand my number of students as I am eager to share my knowledge. Working with this age group has really inspired me to take on teaching a career as I feel I can trigger young minds into thinking History is not something that belongs in the past.

My main focus when tutoring is to inspire the student with passion from myself that drives the enthusiasm for the subject which in turn allows them to develop their own skills and knowledge within the area.  

As I believe every child is unique, I plan each lesson accordingly bringing my own resources and worksheets to devolve integrative and engaging sessions.
