Information about Jack

I started online tuition in 2017 and have found it extremely effective, so much so I have since moved all my tuition online.
With the use of various tools the session is much like one in person, and many students and parents prefer more relaxed environment. Furthermore, the time saved commuting enables me to allow greater flexibility

As an avid questioner myself, I believe in the art of questioning. Students need asked questions, if any given question is too challenging they can be asked others until the original question can be answered. I provide questions, along with explanations and additional resources that enable the student to engage with their subject.

6 months full-time tuition in Cambridge, 2016.

I planned and delivered my first science lesson during a 3 week teaching placement whilst studying an Ecology degree at the University of East Anglia. This included both final-year Biology and Chemistry units as well as an additional year in Colorado. After graduation I spent a summer teaching environmental management at Sunseed Spain. I then went to South Korea where I taught for 14 months in a High School during term-time and in Primary Schools during vacations. I also gave several members of staff one-on-one tuition. I then moved to Mexico where I worked in a Private Academy giving a combination of classes and tuition. Upon returning to the UK I under took a year-long Chemistry Advanced Diploma and then a PGCE in Secondary Chemistry, both at Sunderland University. I have also completed 100 credits of an MA in Latin American Studies in collaboration with Newcastle University.
