I am a passionate graduate of physics and philosophy, who greatly enjoys sharing my knowledge and understanding of my subjects to others. I am a patient and empathetic person, who takes interest in my tutees and understands the emotional and motivational issues they may have. I strive to encourage passion for a subject so that studying is not just another chore. I have taught mathematics and physics at university level and also comfortable teaching these subjects at any level.

Experience: I have a bachelor`s degree in physics and philosophy at the University of York.
In the course of my studies I have learned a great deal of advanced mathematics and am able to teach it at A level.
As a postgraduate in physics I was a tutor and teaching assistant for undergraduate physics students. In these roles I helped students solve university-level physics problems set by professors and engaged in support for students in small tutor groups where we would discuss the subject in a less formal setting, helping their understanding of the subject as well as focusing on assignment problems they were having.
At A-level, I volunteered as a teaching assistant to year six pupils in an after-school homework class. My role was to support pupils and help them prepare for their SATs.
