Information about Nabeel
I am a postgraduate of Biomedical and Molecular Science Research (MSc) from King`s College London having achieved a Merit in my degree in 2014. Prior to this, I completed my Undergraduate degree (BSc) in Biomedical Science from the University of East London in 2010. I completed my PGCE in 2016 and have worked as a Science teacher in a top performing secondary school.
My teaching experience has equipped me with the strategies of educating young people. I have always held a reputation of making lessons enjoyable and fun in an attempt to get students to understand the topic being studied. I teach on the premise that understanding a topic removes the burden of memorisation. This has worked well with my students and has given them the tools to excel and succeed.
Furthermore, I have tutored a number of students over the past years and have made them all achieve their best in the exams.
Availability: I have 100% flexibility for online sessions.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I a currently a science teacher teaching in a top performing Surrey based secondary school.
In the past, I was fortunate to teach students differing from a range of learning capabilities. I have helped secondary school children struggling with scientific concepts as well as university students needing assistance understanding a particular biochemical mechanism.
I have taught a class of 14-15 students once a week Biology at iGCSE level. Teaching in larger groups has enabled me to deal with a number of students simultaneously making sure that the demands of the curricular are met. Indeed, I also have experience with one-to-one tuition, where learning is centered primarily at the students` pace, whilst ensuring the entire syllabus is covered in the shortest time possible. One of my current students attends a private prep school and is aiming to apply to Eaton and Winchester. His curriculum demands much more than what is normally required in schools, but I have utilised my skills and am now enabling him to grasp the difficult concepts to apply them to any given question. He currently is one of the top students in his class. My other students students include(d) those learning Science at GCSE level with OCR, Edexcel and AQA exam boards.
In addition to this, I also have been tutoring Biochemistry-related course students studying in university, aiding them excel in their assignments.
