Hi, I’m Hafsa.

I tutor Maths and Science for students aged 6 to 16, covering KS2 through to GCSE. My teaching approach is adaptable and student-focused, allowing me to effectively support a wide range of learning needs and abilities. I aim to make lessons clear and engaging, breaking down tricky concepts into manageable steps or finding creative ways to help students understand and enjoy the subject.

I have particular experience working with students who have learning differences, including dyslexia, autism, and ADHD. I use tailored strategies to help them engage with the material, build confidence, and make steady progress.

My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where every student feels empowered to learn at their own pace and achieve their potential.

Availability: Wednesday-Friday (17.00-20.00)
Saturday-Sunday (9am-19.00)

Experience: My teaching approach focuses on building strong foundational understanding, problem-solving confidence, and exam readiness. I use a mix of visual aids, step-by-step explanations, past exam questions, and interactive questioning to ensure students not only learn the methods but also understand why they work. Lessons are tailored to individual learning styles, whether visual or verbal, and I regularly assess understanding through mini-quizzes and recall activities. I aim to make studying less intimidating by breaking down complex topics into manageable parts, using real-life examples where possible. I also focus on exam technique: showing how to interpret questions, avoid common pitfalls, and maximise marks.
