I`m James, a third year Geography (MA) student at Durham University. I`m loving the diversity of my course and have enjoyed studying everything from the causes of natural disasters to the impacts of climate change on the Syrian civil conflict. I specialise more in human geography but don`t underestimate the importance of the physical side with my science background from school. I remember how challenging it was at school to really push my marks up into the top grade boundaries and appreciated the mentorship I received to make my university offer. Aside from my studies, I love to cycle, edit an online paper and organise large scale charity fundraising events.
