My name is Seetal
I am passionate about teaching and devote myself ensuring each child, no matter what needs, levels or background has the best chance in life to have a good quality education. I proudly run a very successful tuition centre in the evenings with my sister however am available during the day for one to one or group sessions via zoom or in the home.
I am proud of my work and believe in each child and for me progression and rewards keep me motivated. I tailor my teaching to each individual, offering a range of methods and resources for the child to use.
I am enthusiastic and very supportive to children’s needs. I motivate children with my lively and friendly approach. I like to challenge those that need challenging and support those that need support in areas, in a firm but friendly way. I like my students to feel confident in asking questions. It`s my job to help fill in those gaps. Sessions are enjoyable, with a mixture of computer and paper based work to maintain concentration. All learning is tracked with an initial assessment unless there as specific areas you would like me to focus on. Emphasis is on goals and results, and not too formal, to make the learning more relaxed.

Availability: Available during the days 10-2 weekdays and I also run a tuition centre in Leeds after 4pm.

Experience: I am a qualified teacher with 14 years of teaching experience from ages 3-13. I have experience of supporting children with dyslexia and a range of special needs. I hold a BA Honours Childhood Studies and a primary PGCE. I have taught in all primary year groups and have a good experience of preparing children for the KS1 and KS2 SATs . I am currently run my own tuition centre in Leeds which we open 4pm and have been here for over 5 years. Children have thrived and met all learning expectations during my time.
