I am a fun, patient, and calm secondary school teacher living in the Chelmsford area. I have been a Chelmsford local for much of my life and I love living in the city. I work at a local Chelmsford secondary school and am looking forward to expanding the tutoring side of my profession. If you are looking for someone to be calm, patient and understanding, then please consider me!

Availability: Ideally, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. However, I can do any evening during the week and could maybe discuss some Saturday/Sunday morning sessions if appropriate.

Experience: I am a qualified Secondary English teacher and have been for the last six years. I am currently working at a local secondary school in Chelmsford and have extensive experience delivering the AQA GCSE syllabus for both Literature and Language. I can cover all Literature texts on the AQA syllabus but I specialise in Macbeth as the Shaespeare text, An Inspector calls as the drama option, The Sign of Four as the novel and finally the Power and Conflict poetry cluster. I am also available to tutor KS3 students who may be struggling with certain skills or areas - you may wish to get some additional tutoring in place before the start of Year 10. I could definitely help with that! All of my GCSE classes have mad positive progress over the last 5 years which the majority of students meeting or exceeding their target grades. Again, my specialism would be for any students who are on the borderline of passing/failing or those who are just passing (Grade 4-5) but wish to push this up to a 6-7.
