I have extensive experience teaching within the classroom and within the homes of private tutees and pride myself on engaging, fun and creative lessons for all ages.

Alongside this I have my PGCE (Professional Graduate Certificate in Education). I completed 8 formal teaching observations and 100 teaching hours to be deemed a "grade 2 with outstanding qualities".

Jodie tutors my son, he is 11 years old in June.
He really looks forward to his lessons with Jodie and tells me that she is the best tutor he has ever had. Jodie has exceptional communication skills and My son tells me that Jodie explains every thing to him very well and he understands it much better than when previous tutors have tried.
He has made huge improvements since having tutoring sessions with Jodie and one of the best things is his new enthusiasm for learning, which I feel is down to Jodie’s great lessons. He feels confident and happy with Jodie and will ask questions and share his ideas and knowledge with her.

Jodie is very approachable and has a very friendly and happy personality, she is always open to new ideas and nothing is ever too much trouble. Jodie is extremely organised and her lessons are always well prepared, I receive detailed reports on how My son has done in each session and how he is progressing.

His favourite lesson with Jodie is English especially creative writing. Jodie’s great imagination coupled with her brilliant English skills help to create some really good English lessons and he thoroughly enjoys them.
Jodie is very realiable and honest and I would reccomend her very highly. I have never had and troubles over money and I find the feedback left by some one previously is extremly unfair, and should not be taken seriously. Once you meet Jodie you will see for yourself what a great tutor she is. Her first lesson is always free so you have nothing to lose.

Jodie lacks the skills to teach an undergraduate or young adult. Her responses can be so condescending to say the least and argumentative with no sense for a resolve. She demanded for advance payment from my 21 year old niece and has refused to refund the money despite a fall out. Unconscionable is not a word in her dictionary. I hope she gives back the money she has not provided the services for with all her contractual knowledge, she asserts contrary on a refund for money not due to her. Highly unrecommendable for any law undergraduate.

Tutors Response :

This is not accurate. I provided the services given as requested for her niece. Unfortunately her niece kept changing her mind about the level of work she would like from me and has also not turned up for classes either later or at all on more than one occasion. Anita then tried to threaten and bully me into refunding her the outstanding money , by putting bad feedback on my page and threatning "public action". I tried to resolve this by emailing and offering extra work for her niece or alternatively setting out a plan for future lessons. Unfortunately this was refused on her part. Payment method was agreed in advance and I have solid evidence to prove this.

Jodie is currently tutoring our 10 year old son in Science and he is loving it! He is home educated and has had a few different tutors and he tells me Jodie is the best tutor he has ever had by far! He said Jodie explains every thing to him very well and he really looks forward to their weekly sessions. Jodie is very organised and gives feedback at the end of every lesson, which is really helpful. We are so impressed we have decided to start with tutoring sessions in Geography and English too.
We can not reccomend Jodie enough... We just hope she will continue tutoring for at least the next 5 years so she can help Eddie pass his GCSEs. :)
