My calm, thoughtful and motivational approach to supporting young learners, with use of humour and empathy, puts learners at ease. I look to inspire confidence and a love of learning to empower pupils and enable them to fulfil their potential.
I am a keen reader myself, as well as a writer, guitarist, singer-songwriter and qualified UEFA B Football Coach.I live in Didsbury, South Manchester, with my wife Jenny and our daughters Erin and Miyah.

Availability: Available most weekday daytimes and some evenings, plus Sundays.

Experience: During a 18 year career in secondary English teaching, I have worked at a broad range of schools and consistently been graded Good to Outstanding by Ofsted. I`ve earned a reputation for excellent classroom management, subject knowledge and the ability to build positive relationships with the pupils I teach. I am experienced in preparing pupils for exams from a range of exam boards and can provide them with the tools needed to flourish.
