During this time I have built up a strong passion for teaching and helping young children in their path to academic success. Though teaching in the classroom is incredibly rewarding, I feel strongly about one-to-one tutoring and the great benefits that can specifically help young ones who find History/R.S/Geography challenging or aid those students who need specialist tracking to consolidate their learning and get the fantastic grades that you and I want from them!

I have experience of tutoring in the past, and my approachable personality and personalised learning plan has been praised for allowing students to ask the right questions that they may feel shy about asking in the classroom and enjoy the best subjects in the curriculum!
This helps with their personalised learning and takes advantage of my years of experience of teaching Key Stage 3 and GCSEs.

Experience: Having taught in a range of schools over the past 8 years, my experience specifically lies within the secondary education sector. I have taught History/R.S/Geography throughout Key stage 3 and GCSE and this can help me to develop a specific learning plan for your child that helps strengthen their understanding of the subject, leading up to the crucial exam period in the summer.
Due to my teaching experience, I have a strong knowledge of what is required from most of the GCSE exam boards and relative understanding of what your child will currently be learning within school.

How can this help your child? - well I can do the following:

1. Develop a learning plan - which takes into account what your child has learned, where the gaps are and what they need to do to improve on a continuous tutoring basis.

2. Create a range of engaging learning activities that are used within school SPECIFIC to your child`s needs. Complimenting their current learning.

3. Expert experience of teaching and tips on how your child can improve and get the best from their education, no matter which Ofsted rated school they are in!
