Hi everyone. My name is Elia, I`m from Reggio Emilia, a city in northern Italy. I`m currently studying Mechanical Engineering with Biomedical Engineering (first year) at Newcastle University.

Availability: On Mondays I have lectures from 9am until 5pm.
On Tuesdays from 9am until 3 or 4pm. On Wednesdays from 9am until 1pm.
On Thursdays I have Labs which can also last all day. On Fridays from 10am until 5pm. Semester 2 timetables haven`t been released yet

Experience: In the past few months, before coming to Newcastle, I gave Mathematics lessons to the child of some swedish friends. It started casually, talking to her mom I found out that she had quite a hard time understanding some basic notions so I offered to help her out with that. We decided that I`d meet with her for a day and see how things were going. She seemed hesitant at first, but spending some time on it she started to gain more and more confidence and we ended up having no trouble, me with the teaching and her with the learning. We sorted out all that she couldn`t understand from her level of maths and at the end she was really thankful because she now has no problem at all.
