Information about Sravya

Hi, I`m Sravya!

I enjoy making science fun, engaging, and even a little bit entertaining. I know firsthand that subjects like maths and physics can seem intimidating at first—but with the right explanations and guidance, they can also be immensely rewarding.

Whether you need to improve your grades, gain confidence for exams, or simply master that difficult concept at last, I am here to assist. I specialize in reducing subjects to easy, bite-sized steps and utilizing everyday examples to make concepts real.

Outside of studying, I enjoy playing team sports like badminton, which keeps me active and teaches me the value of teamwork. I’m also an avid reader, always curious to explore new ideas and perspectives—whether through science, fiction, or anything in between
and I try to bring the same curiosity and creativity to tutoring.

If you`re seeking a tutor who is patient, understanding, and genuinely cares about your success, I`d be happy to assist you!

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I’ve tutored younger students in subjects like maths and science, including helping children of family friends and colleagues. Through these sessions, I’ve learned how to adapt my explanations to suit different ages and abilities, making sure concepts are clear and easy to understand.
I`ve also volunteered at my neighborhood Scouts group, working with 5-year-olds up through. What I`ve gained from that is patience, encouragement, and creating an approachable atmosphere to learn—something I bring to every tutoring session.

I believe the best way to learn is to make big ideas feel small and manageable. I break down difficult concepts into simple, plain steps, using the best method for each student individually—be it picturing with diagrams, sorting through real-world situations, or talking it out.

I also work in an active way, testing new ideas with exam questions. This both cements understanding, and develops sound exam technique, so that students feel confident to apply what they have learned in exam situations.
