Information about Michael
I`m looking to teach GCSE Politics. I have enjoyed this subject immensely, reading watching and studying it from a young age. I am prepared to teach any syllabus.
I often watch BBC Parliament. Whilst at college, I did a course called Public Administration where we discussed the general structure of how the English parliamentary system works and how laws are passed in parliament, we also discussed how the various institutions of how government work, and how citizens can elect politicians.
Availability: I am free anytime.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I belong to an organisation called Philosophy in Pubs. Through this group , I have often presented topics some that are political I once presented a topic about the rise of popularity of leaders in parliament such as Jeremy Corybn, and Boris Johnson.
I also belong to a pan European group called New Europeans UK where we discussed issues through the prism of young people`s rights based around people who are 18-30 years old. For example in one debate we spoke about particularly those aged 16 to 17 and whether they should get to vote. We also discussed how we make the EU into a more diverse group, and how this would impact on the younger generation.
