Hello there, I`m Gaia and I`m an Italian native speaker and I work as Language Tutor at the Coventry University.
I received my Master degree in Modern Languages at the Ca` Foscari University of Venice.
I absolutely love modern languages and literatures and the way they can make you understand and explore new cultures.
Ever since I was a child, languages have always been my passion, so I really want to offer my language knowledge and skills to those people that share my enthusiasm.
Languages, literatures and cultures knowledge are amazing life skills to possess, they can open up many new doors for you.

Experience: I`m currently teaching Italian at the Coventry University, I`ve also been individually tutoring for the past 3 years in Italy and in UK delivering lesson to students of all levels, from high schools students to adults people. My job has usually been trying to find the most suitable way to learn a foreign language for each one of my student, helping them learn grammar, improve their speaking, writing, reading and listening abilities, build their vocabulary and gain more confidence in using a foreign language.
I`ve been preparing some students who had to take heir final exams in high school.
I`ve been also teaching Italian and Spanish literature and poetry.

For my lessons, I usually use and provide grammar sheets, exercises, audio materials, songs, articles, short stories, poems and anything you`re interested in, or if you already have your own school material we can work with it as well!
If you`re a complete beginner, we`ll focus on giving you the ability to speak and understand simple conversations in everyday context, taking you through a wide range of practical situations such as travelling, shopping, working and eating out.
During my lessons I usually try to avoid speaking English with my students as much as possible, because trying is the most effective way to learn a new language. No matter if at first you are wrong, because if you keep trying at last you will succeed.
