Hola soy Laia! (Hi, I`m Laia).

I am an enthusiastic and friendly native Spanish teacher with a Qualified Teacher Status offering lessons to anyone hoping to learn or improve their Spanish at all levels. A passionate about languages (fluent in Spanish, Catalan and English) and also passionate about working with children and young people.
I focus on each individual needs to ensure everyone makes great progress; gain confidence in speaking Spanish, learn about the culture and provide the students with all my support and encouragement required.

I am happy to teach students in both, One to One or small groups (even families!) from beginners to advanced level.

Achieving a Bachelor`s degree in Primary Teaching (specialised in Foreign Languages) and working for 4 years at a Language School in Barcelona has aided me with sufficient knowledge to teach students and help them build accuracy, fluency and confidence in the language from the very first lesson!

Experience: I`ve been working for 4 years at a Language School located in Barcelona, teaching native Spanish speakers English lessons at different levels (from 3 years old up to 60 years old).

Also, during my 4 years at University, I`ve had the opportunity of doing my school placements in three different primary schools from Barcelona.

Also, I lived for 3 months in Exeter as an AuPair 3 years ago, where I was teaching the children and the parents Spanish.

At the moment, I`m a supply teacher in Manchester, covering a teacher in Reception at a Primary school based in Burnage.
