I`m deeply enthusiastic and passionate about art, design, interactive media, and helping others get stuck into it!

My 13+ years working as a professional artist and designer has enabled me to develop an extensive knowledge across the Adobe creative design software, as well as invaluable experience working in the art and design industries, which I love to share with others wherever it proves useful.

I tailor each session to each student`s interests and objectives, taking a holistic approach.
This means often working across different Adobe applications, on engaging practical exercises to develop technical skills, whilst introducing universal design principles and drawing inspiration from leading designer`s and artist`s work and processes.
I believe this all-encompassing way of learning is a very effective way of designers to feel more inspired to experiment with different ways of working, and build their confidence and excitement to realize their ideas.

Sessions are also used to critique and discuss student`s work and portfolio, looking at ways to develop their practise through structured, practical and supportive guidance.

Availability: Due to the Covid-19 crisis, I am currently available for online teaching only.
I am available Monday to Sunday 9am-8pm for 1 hour and 2 hour slots.

Experience: I`m a freelance professional Illustrator, Graphic and web designer with 13+ years professional experience. I have an advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite, and have run workshops, taught one-on-one and via video tutorials for the past 5 years.

Shape History - Senior Designer March 2019-Oct 2009
Illustrator, Animator, Graphic, Motion Graphics & Website designer.
Shape History is a social justice campaigns agency which produces campaigns for charities and non-profit organisations. As senior designer, I was involved with projects from conception to completion, often as the sole designer working with the strategy team. Each project began with brainstorming the initial client’s brief, discovery phase, researching target audiences and competitor’s work. From here I would create design direction concepts, and decks, liaising directly with clients for sign-off. Projects included campaign videos, animation, branding, website design, print document design, illustration and infographic design.
Notable clients include the UN, Survivors UK, Article 19, Mothers 2 Mothers, the Fund for Global Human Rights & Fondation Botnar. During my time at Shape I won new contracts based directly on work I produced.

I founded Fur Feathers & Tails, as a commercial outlet for my pen ink and watercolour wildlife studies. I create vivid characters in a naturalistic style that engage both children and adults alike. As well as the everyday running of the business, I have designed and produced an ever expanding range of fine art giclee prints, 100% greetings cards, notebooks and other merchandise which is sold in stores around London. In early 2019, I secured a deal with an international greetings card distributor.
