I have taught across all key stages and my particular area of expertise is maths teaching for students with and without additional needs. I`m currently working in a secondary school as a head of department.

Fantastic sessions,which are pitched at just the right level and the pace is good too. Friendly, patient and really clear teaching. Would definitely recommend.

Jo is an excellent tutor. She`s been working with my 11-year old son in his last year of primary school. My son is bright, and wasn`t being challenged enough at school, so we decided a tutor would be helpful. Jo has been great at getting my son to try out new types of maths challenges, explaining more complex topics, and generally making maths a much more satisfying experience for him. My son has really enjoyed it (instead of seeing it as "more homework"), and the sessions have clearly developed his maths understanding. Jo is warm, friendly and very positive, and the whole experience has been great.
