Information about Wajahat
I am a very enthusiastic, thought provoking and logical individual. I am a Computer Vision Engineer with a Masters in Embedded Systems (Computer Vision) working in R&D in the defence sector.
Whilst I was doing my Masters I was a teacher assistant for 3rd year Computer Science students covering their Programming, Advanced Database and Computer Vision modules.
In my spare time, I like to Scuba Dive, I am an assistant instructor and hold a BSAC Sports Diver qualification, every Friday I teach students how to safely Scuba Dive in the swimming pool.
I am highly passionate about what I do, as well as treating computing as a career I like to treat it as a hobby, I always have to have a mini-project on the side, might that be an autonomous robot or a game or just a mobile application.
I have been tutoring for over six years and have had excellent feedback from each student, I have tutored a wide variety of students ranging from primary to PhD level. I go by a tailored approach to suit the individual needs of each tutee.
Availability: I can do most evenings and weekends.
Willing to travel: 50 miles
Experience: I have developed many applications using Java, C#.NET, C++ (OpenCV), Matlab, Python. In addition, I have a great deal of experience in developing dynamic websites using PHP, Javascri pt, JQuery etc. I have a keen interest in the Computer Vision and Machine Learning disciplines wherein my research lies.

Waj helped hugely with a Matlab assignment that I had very little time to complete. I wouldn’t have been able to have completed it without his help! Very dedicated and committed.

At the time of writing my son has had 5 sessions and these have gone very well. Right from the start my son felt he had learnt a lot. Waj is friendly, approachable, reliable and professional. So far, so good!

Waj is brilliant. It`s hard to find an articulate computing teacher who is perceptive about where students are knowledge-wise and where they can be inspired to go. Both my sons enjoy learning with Waj.
