I have a PGCE from Loughborough University after having worked previously as a Chemical Engineer and a Business Analyst. I have been tutoring for 4 years now and it has been very rewarding.
I am passionate about Maths and try to find real life examples to make the lesson more fun and exciting.
I have been teaching KS3, KS4 (Higher and Foundation) to A-level (exam boards AQA, Edexcel and OCR MEI).

I take great pride in my tutees` work - last year`s results blew me away - my A Level tutees exceeded expectations- One of them expected a B and got an A on first attempt. My other one came to me after 2 attempts to secure an A and kept getting a B, and we got an A*!

Two years ago, I also took on some interesting cases. One of my Year 9 tutees struggled with dyscalculia and I did my research on the subject and we worked together to get her more confident at school. She even secured an A in her second term exams. I also taught Foundation GCSE and so proud my tutee passed this year after I helped her since her 2 failed attempts.

Overall, I am extremely patient and never give up on my pupils, no matter how hard they find Maths.

Availability: Weekday afternoons and Saturdays for now. During exam preparation period, I also tutor on Sundays if required.

Experience: I worked at 2 schools in Loughborough, teaching all levels from Year 7 to Year 13.
I have successfully been tutoring Years 9 to Year 13, including one pupil who has been struggling with dyscalculia.

I prefer to tutor from home - I live very near Loughborough College but I will also travel a few miles to the student`s location.
