Eleni

I am a native Greek speaker and an experienced tutor with both adult and school-age learners. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge of the Greek language (ancient & modern), which is why I draw a lot of my teaching material from the fascinating Ancient Greek mythology and history.

My experience in working with both minors and adults, as well as with children with learning differences has made me highly adaptable to each student`s different needs and goals. As a private tutor, I always offer lessons that are tailored to each individual`s special circumstances and interests.

In terms of University education, I have a PhD in Medicine (obtained in the UK) and a BSc in Biology (obtained in Greece) and am currently working as a Research Fellow. Due to certain time-restraints I decided to keep teaching my native language and reduce my tutoring activity for other subjects (e.g Biology).

Experience: I have more than three years of tutoring experience to children aged 6-12 in a number of school subjects including (but not limited to) Science, Mathematics and Greek language. I also have more than two years experience in teaching modern Greek to adult learners ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
