I am an IoE educated (ranked number one for education worldwide) primary school teacher with a specialist qualification in maths teaching. I have six years teaching experience, both as a class teacher, a qualified NTP tutor and as a teaching assistant.

My practice is heavily informed by contemporary research which means that teaching and learning will be focused on what really works! My sessions will be tailor made especially for your child and our unique learning journey will be crafted based on a detailed and thorough understanding of their specific needs. Combining a rich understanding of both pedagogy and the individual gives rise to a fertile, stimulating and enjoyable learning experience in which learning is meaningful and most importantly sticks in your child’s mind.

My expertise is in maths teaching and I have a vast understanding of evidence based learning principles as well as a broad understanding of the National Curriculum. I aim to teach for understanding, which allows children to link concepts together which goes beyond the simple memorization of rote formulas to facilitate a deeper and more complete understanding of the subject.
