Ángeles

My name is Ángeles and I am from Madrid. My university degree is in Teaching Languages. I taught Spanish grammar and English as a Second Language in Madrid. I taught Spanish for 3 years in the USA following the state curriculum. I have done one-to-one classes to Adults in the UK. I am always updated about what is going on with Languages. Currently learning about the UK curriculum for GCSE and A Level by Kings college in London. I am positive, patient and reliable. I look forward to meeting you.

Availability: I am available some week days from 5:30 pm and Saturdays from 11:30. I do one-to-one sessions at my place.

Experience: I have been teaching for 20 years in different fields: Spanish, English as a second Language, lifelong learning skills and Employability skills. I believe that the learner should be active in his/her own learning process and classes should be fun. I tailor my classes to your specific needs (visual, repetition, grammar oriented, homework, writing and so on). The classes are based on visual techniques, role plays, translating, memorising vocabulary, Flash cards and magazines. Culture awareness is essential and it is included in my lessons (as the 4 basic skills in languages). I have experience with a range of ages from 7 to Adult learners.
