Information about Shean
My name is Shean, I am offering a personalised and professional maths tutoring service in Kettering, Wellingborough and the surrounding areas. Based in Burton Latimer I have a BSc in Mathematics and Education Studies, this has enabled me to gain an insight into the psychology of how people learn.
I provide tutoring for students up to GCSE level including Adult Learning (with no age restrictions) and exam preparation.
I can provide proof of DBS (previously CRB) clearance from October 2017. My work history includes 6 years of experience working in primary and secondary schools.
Maths is a subject I feel very passionately about and I bring this enthusiasm into the support I give.
I am able to provide references on request.
Availability: Mon to Fri - 5pm till 9pm
Weekends - all day
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: 6 years tutoring maths privately at GCSE level, 6 years of employment in secondary schools with roles including maths support. Currently taking small groups of students for additional maths classes. 2 years volunteering in maths department while studying at university where I obtained a BSc in Mathematics and Education Studies.

It didn’t really work out for us with Shean due to a family incident her side. She sounded ideal when chatting, but disappeared off the grid before our first meeting....

Shean has been great with our children ages 5 & 6 teaching them Maths at KS1, they both really enjoy her teaching style. Shean always gives us feedback at the end of every lesson, which helps us in terms of going over what the children have learnt with her before their next lesson. Shean is a very approachable and down to earth person, that has taken on board any concerns we have had. We look forward to her teaching our children.
