I have taught history and sociology for seventeen years and am also an A Level examiner. I studied History at Durham University, and also have a Masters degree in Modern History. I have taught a large number of GCSE and A Level classes, and have a proven track record of my students achieving excellent results. My specialism is Modern History at GCSE, and my Master`s degree mostly focused on Twentieth Century history, especially Russian History 1855-1956. I have also taught the Tudor period, Nazi Germany and the Holocaust as specialisms, and I am also very familiar with the Twentieth Century, and the 1930s especially. I also teach A Level Sociology, specialising in Education, Crime and Deviance and Theory and Methods. As well as examining A Level history for the last ten years I am also an examiner for the AQA exam board for A Level Sociology, for both the Education exam and also the A2 Crime and Deviance paper. My experience as a GCSE and A Level teacher as well as knowing what the exam boards are looking for means that I understand how to get you the best grades.
