I am a qualified graduate teacher with undergraduate (BTh), masters (MA), and doctorate (PhD) degrees in theology and religious studies. I also hold a PGDE (Secondary) in religious, moral and philosophical studies and QTS. I possess excellent subject knowledge and outstanding teaching skills. These enable me to coach tutees to excel in their examinations. I coach GCSE and A-Level religious studies. Currently, I am available to teach online using Google meet. I can tutor two students for the price of one within the hour.

My teaching philosophy is that given the right tools, every student has the capacity to succeed, academically. Therefore, using differentiated instructional or teaching methods, curriculum modification and learner-centred approaches, I aim to maximize each student`s capacity to not only grasp curriculum contents, but also achieve the highest attainable grade in their examinations.

Our first tutorial meeting would normally focus on identifying the learner`s curricula needs, goals and aspirations. Once these have been adequately identified, an action-plan is designed and followed through with a view to matching the learner`s needs and goals with curriculum expectations.

Availability: Online tutoring during term time: Mon-Fri: 6-8pm SAT: 1-8pm SUN 12-4pm

Online tutoring during holidays: Mon-Sat: 11am-8pm.

Experience: Within the past 10 years, I have successfully prepared and presented candidates for GCSE and A Level Religious Studies. Over these years, over 50% of the students I prepared for these exams got Grades 9-7 in their GCSE and 100% A*-C passes at A-LEVEL.
