I am a qualified Mathematics teacher and a GCSE examiner. I have many years of teaching experience in both schools and colleges. I have provided private tuition over last ten years to students of all ages and abilities.
Availability: from 4pm weekday and Saturday mornings. I prefer tutoring at my home but can travel if necessary. I am also offering online tuition for those who prefer this way of learning.

Experience: I have many years of teaching Key stages 3 ,4 as well as A level and Functional skills Mathematics in educational institutions. I am currently teaching at an independent school and at a college. I also tutor children in small groups and individually. I use my own resources in my teaching and have various books that I teach from when necessary . I enjoy teaching mathematics and I will do my very best to help learners of all abilities to reach their potential in the subject. I have had very good GCSE success rate in the past. Most of my pupils now enjoy the subject as I make it fun and enjoyable for them.

I can`t recommend Mrs Bassi enough. Our son was struggling with his confidence in Maths when he was setted in one of the bottom sets for Maths in hist first GCSE year and told he would be sitting the lower paper. This came after a succession of supply teachers the previous year which had disrupted his learning. Mrs Bassi restored his confidence and explained things to him in just one tutor session, that he hadn`t got the grip of all year. He is now actually enjoying Maths, has had good results, and has managed to move up two sets and to sitting the higher paper, in just one year. He sat the higher paper for his mocks, and despite not having been taught some of the topics as he had been in a lower stream, managed to gain a solid grade even gaining 100% on one question that revolved around a topic that he had not yet covered, but he had covered with Mrs Bassi. We are continuing Mrs Bassi`s tuition this last GCSE year to ensure that our son can achieve the best he can.

Early days but my son is already feeling more confident in his maths. In his recent school test he felt there were several questions he wouldn’t have been able to answer without Gujinder’s help

Gujinder is a brilliant tutor with excellent teaching skills. Guinder is very friendly, approachable and professional. With Gujinder’s support, guidance and assistance, my daughter has started getting Grade 9 in GCSE Maths in School`s Mock test.
