I`m a passionate and creative Science teacher who thrives on strong relationships built with pupils, parents and colleagues.I believe that every student is an individual and that has a large impact on how they learn and, therefore, how I teach. Outside of teaching I have a strong interest in the performing arts and writing for performance.

Experience: I have been a Science teacher for over 9 years with experience in teaching all three Science specialisms in a range of contexts. I currently teach all year groups from years 7-13 at a local outstanding grammar school. I`m particularly familiar with the Edexcel GCSE Biology specification, AQA GCSE specifications (especially Chemistry and Biology), OCR A Level Biology specification, and AQA A Level Biology specification, but can cater for other exam boards. I trained under the Teach First Leadership Development Program and have plenty of experience teaching a duverse range of students with different strengths and weaknesses. I have gained a lot of insight into the things students tend to misunderstand in exams and how to tackle these misconceptions to improve technique and performance.

During my time teaching, I have also worked as a GCSE Mathematics supply teacher as well as having spent time as a Sixth Form Manager, and have experience with UCAS applications and writing personal statements.
