I am a female Maths teacher, teaching locally and I have been tutoring since 2003.
I have a relaxed approach to tutoring, very patient and professional in my approach, never overloading the student with work but instead developing the key ideas behind each topic first and then reinforcing them with exercises. All of my tutees have improved in their grades. Ultimately my approach is based on the pupils needs and I try my best to instil genuine interest in the subject while teaching my tutees exam techniques for ensuring success in exams.
