I am an experienced and passionate physics teacher. After graduating from Durham University, I completed my PGCE at Oxford University. I particularly enjoy encouraging pupils who lack confidence in this subject and stretching those who may have fallen behind and are aiming for higher grades. My skill is in explaining and simplifying what are perceived to be difficult concepts. I am the mother of three children so understand how daunting the exam period can be for many students. I am approachable and friendly and can help those struggling with the basics as well as those aiming for top examination results.

Availability: I have retired from working in school so can be available to suit you; school holidays or after school. I can teach face to face or on zoom.

I have a thorough knowledge of exam specifications at both GCSE and A level and my effective teaching strategies have led to consistently successful examination results.
