Information about Nikita
I studied Sociology at University of York graduating in July 2019 with a first class degree. I am now studying for an MSc in Psychodynamics of Human Development.
As a student of Sociology, I have a strong interest in social science and my passion for childhood development and healthcare has been actively pursued through extra-curricular pursuits and part-time work within the NHS, alongside my current masters degree in Psychodynamics of Human Development. I have seized multiple opportunities and voluntary positions to harness my passion and develop my skills, including work with young children, adolescents, and adults.
With this in mind, I have the knowledge and interest to shape the tutoring around specific aims that are tailored directly to each individual, by establishing clearly defined and achievable outcomes for each learner, shaped by both them and myself. I believe that learning should be interesting and fun which I will aim to achieve, ensuring that students are succeeding through my tutoring.

Experience: I have seized multiple opportunities and voluntary positions to harness my passion and develop my skills, including work with young children, adolescents, and adults. My passion for helping younger individuals was first established several years ago, when I joined the Accelerated Reading programme at a local high school. This opportunity involved communicating with young children with disorders, and acting as a mentor to help assist such children. Most recently, I volunteered at a local primary school leading a range of literacy based activities; including reading, the crafting of short stories, developing vocabulary and enhancing phonological skills. This position offered a priceless insight into understanding how to communicate with students and establish strong relationships within short time frames.
