I am a highly motivated, skilled and enthusiastic teacher of English Language and Literature with over 12 years of experience. My overall aim is to develop students on an individual basis; I am committed to maximising the future success of my students and to provide them with a strong foundation for their future lives and careers. I passionately believe that given the right support and inspiration every child can achieve. Children begin at different levels and face a variety of challenges along the way but each child will reward a teacher’s persistence if they are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning, equipped with the tools and above all instilled with the confidence and determination required to succeed.

Experience: I’ve taught a wide range of students across Key Stage 3 and GCSE, including mixed-ability classes and those needing extra support. Over the years, my students have consistently achieved excellent GCSE results. I’m also experienced in one-to-one and small group tuition, where I’ve helped learners progress quickly and effectively.

Farzana is an excellent tutor. She works with your individual strengths and weaknesses. She has helped me massively in our few weeks of tuition in improving my writing techniques and the best way to go about different types of writing e.g. letters and articles. I already feel more confident with english now and I felt much more confident in my english lit and lang mocks this year compared to last year. Would recommend 100%

I’m glad I picked Farzana to tutor my son, she’s friendly, welcoming and very professional, my son enjoys being tutor by her. He has been going for 3 weeks and I have noticed the change of confidence in him, he’s enjoying learning and that’s what I wanted. If anyone is looking for a English tutor for their child I would highly recommend Farzana.
